Missions

God desires that all men would come into a saving knowledge of covenant marriage with Him.  We operate under the belief that the Bible clearly says in Romans 10 that there are those who bring the gospel to the nations and those who send the missionaries so that they are able to preach that gospel.   Stillwater Refuge’s goal is to equip and reinforce Christian Missionaries.  One way is through providing rest and recuperation through our first class retreat center and hunting ranch for those serving here or abroad.   We also provide practical services such as on-site auto mechanic work, construction, evangelism and medical trips, or start up new businesses for community development.  Our goal is to connect those who want to support or serve missionaries with the ministry opportunity that fits their gifting no matter their age!

Countries we currently have an interest in:

  • Haiti
  • Mongolia
  • Guatemala
  • Uganda
  • Honduras

On August 3-10 2015, the men of Stillwater Refuge have the privilege of going on a mission trip to serve the people of Honduras. This trip marks the completion of our very first Manternship (the summer internship for college aged men). The men will drill a water well in a jungle village, proclaim the good news of the gospel, share God’s love with the locals, and pray for the sick to be healed. We still need about $6,000 to pay for all aspects of this ministry trip, so please prayerfully consider giving a tax-deductible donation either online (click donate) or by mailing a check to P.O. Box 549 Grapeland, TX 75844. When giving online or by check, please put “Honduras” in the memo.
